2019 summer vacation: Day nineteen - From Moose Jaw to Regina
Ladies and gentlemen!
On the nineteenth day of my epic summer vacation, I only drove a short distance from Moose Jaw to Regina and discovered two of the most beautiful cities in all of Canada. Crescent Park in downtown Moose Jaw is absolutely gorgeous with its fountains, monuments and streams. There are numerous interesting shops in downtown Moose Jaw such as an outstanding meadery. I decided to buy two meads, one for the birthday of a friend in Germany and one for myself and both were excellent. I also admired the unique Mac the Moose statue as well as Snowbird Airplane. A few kilometers further east, Regina turned out to be a small but gorgeous capital with numerous stunning trails around Wascana Lake. Saskatchewan Legislative Building and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Gardens are truly gorgeous as well. I also discovered the smallest but most complete shopping mall on my trip with Cornwall Centre. I was so impressed by Moose Jaw and Regina that I definitely want to return there. People should stop underestimating Saskatchewan and visit this gorgeous province. Even though I really liked Manitoba and Alberta, I would say that Saskatchewan was my favourite destination this summer.
