uOttawa station isn't only next to the University of Ottawa but also close to Rideau Canal and the gorgeous Corktown Footbridge. It's worth getting off at this station and talking a short walk in the beautiful vicinity just south of downtown Ottawa. This is one of the most beautifully designed and located brand new O Train stations.

Rideau station is situated right below Ottawa's most important shopping mall: Rideau Centre. In the winter, you can get from the shopping mall to the train station without having to go outside which is certainly an advantage. Stairs and escalators are particularly long here to get from the entrance to the platform. There are no noteworthy decorations in this rather functional station.

Parliament station is right at the heart of downtown Ottawa with numerous historical buildings in the vicinity but also a stunning selection of excellent restaurants, festivals and bars nearby. The colourful roof design is certainly the station's most unique element. The escalators and stairs are quite long and it takes some time to get from the entrance to the platform and vice versa.

Lyon is the first or last station of Confederation Line to be situated under the ground. Thanks to a monument dedicated to the accomplishments of women in and around Ottawa, the station still has a somewhat warm and cozy architecture and look.
