You can also regularly find people playing soccer in the park. Parking fees are reasonable but make sure to read all the instructions upon arrival.il y a un moisRaymond Chabot Grant Thornton Park is by far the most beautiful stadium in the entire region. Admission fees are very reasonable. Staff works efficiently, politely and quickly. Access to the stadium is comfortable and fluid. The view of the field from the different seats is outstanding. Inside the stadium, you have a spacious gift shop. There are numerous restaurants offering diversified meals such as chicken wings, ice cream and nachos. There are three different local microbreweries selling their products here. Restrooms are spacious and clean. The next light train station is only five minutes away across a beautiful bridge. Customer service is helpful and polite. Restrooms look sharp and are well-maintained. The sound for concerts in this location is certainly above average. The next big bus station is only about ten minutes away which makes this place relatively easy to access, even when you come from downtown Ottawa or Gatineau. The nearby Saint-Joseph Boulevard is the only element that lessens this wonderful location.il y a un moisOrleans Community Garden is situated right next to Saint-Joseph Boulevard and offers a nice natural change of scenery. However, the busy boulevard as well as the presence of plastic make this place less idyllic than it could be in a more beautiful location.il y a un moisHermas Saumur Family Forest is a short trail along Saint-Joseph Boulevard that avoids the sidewalk and leads through hilly sections with grass and trees. The entire trail takes less than ten minutes to hike. It offers a nice change of scenery but nothing to write home about.il y a un moisPlace d'Orléans is a clean and modern shopping mall with a great variety of restaurants and stores. The only downside is that the architecture walks off the beaten path which makes the shopping mall unique but can make it confusing upon first visiting it.à l'instantKanata Lakes are situated between Terry Fox Drive and Morgan's Grant neighbourhood in northern Kanata. Walking along these lakes takes only about ten minutes. You can observe animals such as ducks and geese here.il y a 4 minutesKanata North Community Garden is situated in a peaceful neighbourhood where people take great care of this beautiful little spot. There are quite a few trails nearby where you can go biking and hiking. You can go biking and hiking here. Recent storms have however destroyed some of the paths. Let's hope that those issues will shortly be getting fixed.il y a 10 minutesBeaver Pond Kanata offers a few beautiful trails around a little pond. A roundtrip takes roughly thirty minutes. There are quite a few banks to sit down and observe the beauty of nature. You can especially observe ducks and geese. There are also more than forty different trees in the area. This cinema has the highest number of film choices in all of Ottawa, screening even movies from China and India for instance. The seats are comfortable and spacious. The selection of drinks and foods is second to none. Its offer, size and style is similar to the Toronto Eaton Centre. There are numerous big parking lots nearby and the OC Transpo bus station is only a five-minute walk away. It takes some time to get there by public transit from downtown, so the light rail extension can't come soon enough. As soon as the train will be functional, I will certainly be visiting this mall more often than any other.
