Ladies and gentlemen!
Last season was a dreadful one for Impact de Montréal FC that didn't win the Canadian Championship, got eliminated in the CONCACAF Champions League and played an extremely disappointing MLS season. There have been a lot of changes in the off-season with the most notable one being the rebranding to Club de Foot Montréal. I didn't expect much from this team playing its home games in Miami due to the pandemic as it started the new season with a heavily modified roster and a new head coach. That's why I was very pleasantly surprised to watch the team beat its fierce rival Toronto FC with a convincing victory, including four goals scored by four different players. I'm looking forward to supporting the team when it comes back home again once the pandemic will finally be over. Until then, I will keep watching its matches on television and internet. Check out the highlights of Club de Foot Montréal's first historic victory in the MLS below.
