CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre is a beautifully designed theatre conveniently located in downtown Toronto and only about five minutes away from Dundas subway station. The entrance to the location is on the east side on Victoria Street. Customer service is quick, polite and helpful. Seats are clean and comfortable. The views are absolutely outstanding. The sound in this location is also great as you can hear every single syllable that the actresses and actors say. Restrooms are well taken care of. I would go as far to say that this theatre might be the best of its kind in all of Canada.

A beautiful pathway leads all the way to Algonquin College which is about twenty minutes away. You can find a bus terminal with several transits to downtown Ottawa at that institution.

The southern area of Beaver River Falls Recreation Site offers a little parking lot and a wonderful trail along the river. Getting to the falls takes roughly fifteen minutes. The views of the surrounding landscapes are truly magnificent. Make sure to check out the northern area on the other side of the river as well.

There are numerous plaques along the way that inform you about the past railroad tracks and its stations and sights. It's a wonderful trail that is worth being visited over and over again.

Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton Park is by far the most beautiful stadium in the entire region. Admission fees are very reasonable. Staff works efficiently, politely and quickly. Access to the stadium is comfortable and fluid. The view of the field from the different seats is outstanding. Inside the stadium, you have a spacious gift shop. There are numerous restaurants offering diversified meals such as chicken wings, ice cream and nachos. There are three different local microbreweries selling their products here. Restrooms are spacious and clean. The next light train station is only five minutes away across a beautiful bridge. To keep it short, everything about RCGT Park is absolutely amazing.

The place is comfortable with a little stage, enough space for roughly thirty customers and some board games as well as merchandise articles. The different types of beer offer some great variety. Customer service is helpful and polite. Restrooms look sharp and are well-maintained. The sound for concerts in this location is certainly above average. The next big bus station is only about ten minutes away which makes this place relatively easy to access, even when you come from downtown Ottawa or Gatineau. Make sure to visit if you want to have a great drink in amazing company.

Bayshore Shopping Centre is Ottawa's biggest mall and offers an incredible number of stores and restaurants. Its offer, size and style is similar to the Toronto Eaton Centre. There are numerous big parking lots nearby and the OC Transpo bus station is only a five-minute walk away. It takes some time to get there by public transit from downtown, so the light rail extension can't come soon enough. As soon as the train will be functional, I will certainly be visiting this mall more often than any other. The only missing elements are beautiful nearby restaurants as this shopping centre is a little bit in the middle of nowhere.

Le service au P'tit St-Do est courtois et rapide. Les prix sont raisonnables. L'espace est très limité. La qualité de la nourriture laisse à désirer. Surtout les poutines ne méritent pas d'être essayées ici. Elles manquent de goût et sont noyées dans la sauce.

La gare Via Rail de Jonquière offre assez d'espace pour accueillir plusieurs dizaines de personnes qui attendent le train. Les lieux sont propres et les salles de bain sont fonctionnelles. Le service à la billetterie est généralement poli et rapide. Un autre point positif est la proximité de la gare d'autobus qui offre des transferts vers d'autres secteurs de la ville et des villes avoisinantes. Les restaurants ici sont fermés depuis un certain temps, mais il y en a plusieurs à proximité sur la rue Saint-Dominique. Prenez note que les trains partent et arrivent souvent en retard car ce trajet est utilisé en priorité par les trains de marchandises.

Ce belvédère offrant des vues sur le Barrage de Chute-à-Caron et la rivière Saguenay se situe à proximité de l'ancienne et de la nouvelle tombe de Sir William Price. Les vues sont magnifiques et invitent à s'asseoir sur un des bancs et se reposer. Cela prend environ vingt minutes pour se rendre du stationnement du Parc commémoratif Sir William Price jusqu'à ce belvédère.

L'Église Saint-Joseph au centre-ville d'Alma est une des plus belles du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. Elle est a proximité de plusieurs magasins, restaurants et sentiers. Il y a également un grand stationnement à proximité.

Le Parc Sainte-Anne et la Chapelle de l'Île Sainte-Anne sont de magnifiques endroits pour se rassembler entre amis ou en famille. Il est possible d'y faire de l'activité physique ou de juste admirer les vues sur la nature. Le parc et ses alentours mériteraient par contre d'être mieux aménagés pendant l'hiver.

Le Parc des Générations est situé à environ cinq minutes de marche du centre-ville d'Alma. C'est un endroit parfait pour se rassembler entre amis ou en famille ainsi que pour faire de l'activité physique. De plus, ce parc offre de belles vues sur la rivière Saguenay. Un sentier traversant ce parc permet de faire de la randonnée pédestre sur le bord de l'eau vers l'ouest et vers l'est. Ce sentier mériterait par contre d'être mieux entretenu pendant l'hiver.

Ce petit belvédère situé au centre-ville d'Alma est plutôt petit et simpliste et mériterait d'avoir quelques mises en valeur et rénovations. Le belvédère n'est pas accessible du tout pendant l'hiver. Par contre, les vues offertes sur la rivière Saguenay sont vraiment magnifiques.

La vue du belvédère du Mont-Apica est vraiment impressionnante. Malheureusement, l'endroit n'est pas accessible du tout en hiver. Ce serait bien d'entretenir ce lieu pour offrir un petit répit aux conductrices et conducteurs à tout moment.

Cette station d'essence est très bien placée à proximité de l'autoroute 73. Le service est très courtois et rapide. Les prix sont assez élevés. Les deux restaurants dans le même bâtiment, Pizza Salvatoré et Subway, ont des heures d'ouverture trop restreintes. Ce serait bien d'ouvrir ces restaurants plus tôt le matin.

Le Corsaire est une des meilleures micro-brasseries au Québec. Le service est accueillant et chaleureux. Les lieux sont bien entretenus et propres. Les choix des bières sont diversifiés contrairement à bien d'autres micro-brasseries qui ne misent que sur les IPAs. En plus de cela, les repas offerts sur place sont délicieux. C'est un excellent endroit pour passer du bon temps entre amis ou même rencontrer de nouvelles personnes.

This Bulk Barn store at South Keys offers a wonderful selection of candies, noodles and spices. You can also find exotic drinks such as Mexican Cola. Staff is efficient and polite. Prices are very reasonable. A bus and train station are nearby, so you won't have to carry your bags for too long. The only downside is that this store only uses paper bags which are difficult to use when it's raining or in winter time. Protecting the environment is important but there should still be a few plastic bags available for people who have forgotten to bring their own recyclable bags.

Even though this Chapters store at South Keys is much smaller than the one that can be found downtown right across Rideau Centre, this store has a much better selection. You can find numerous wonderful magazines, a high number of interesting science-fiction novels and a very decent selection of manga as well. Staff is always helpful and polite. The nearby Starbucks is perfectly integrated and I'm looking forward to spending more time here once the pandemic will have come to an end.

Ce nouveau restaurant Benny & Co. offre des repas succulents comme le poulet et les côtes levées. On peut y consommer des boissons et le restaurant a même un permis d'alcool. Le service est simple, rapide et courtois. La salle à manger est grande, bien entretenue et bien décorée. La jeune femme qui a débarassé les tables lors de notre visite était particulièrement polie. Mentionnons aussi la commande pour emporter, le stationnement spacieux et le fait que le restaurant est à proximité du campus universitaire.

Le parc Rosaire-Gauthier est très intéressant à visiter. Il y a des terrains de tennis et une piscine en été tandis qu'on peut y faire du patinage et de la raquette en hiver. Il y a quelques sentiers qui partent d'ici et qui permettent de se resourcer dans le boisé avoisinant. Les différents sentiers sont d'une durée d'environ trente minutes et généralement bien entretenus.

Ce magasin de Bulk Barn est une épcierie en vrac qui offre des boissons et la nourriture pour tous les goûts, de différentes sortes de thé à des nouilles dans toutes les formes et couleurs. Les prix de tous ces produits sont très raisonnables. Le magasin est bien organisé et très propre. La caissière était très polie et a veillé à ce que les gens se lavent les mains et portent leurs masques dans le magasin.

L'aire de service du Cap-de-Pierre se trouve à quelques kilomètres de la ville de Québec. Les stationnements sont assez grands. Le bâtiment est bien entretenu. Les salles de bain sont propres et d'une grandeur moyenne. Il y a un petit restaurant sur place qui offre quelques plats simplistes. Par contre, ce restaurant n'est pas ouvert pendant vingt-quatre heures. Il y a quelques machines distributrices qui offrent des boissons, des masques et de la nourriture. Le seul élément manquant sur place est un dépanneur.

Après une très longue fermeture, l'aire de service du Point-du-Jour a récemment été réouvert. Le nouveau bâtiment est bien entretenu. Les salles de bain sont spacieuses. La salle à manger est d'un espace moyen. Il y a plusieurs machines distributrices. Le centre d'information touristique est encore fermé, mais il y a quelques écrans qui donnent de l'information sur la région. Dehors, on trouve un aire de jeux et de l'espace pour faire des pique-niques. Les stationnements sont très grands. Les seuls éléments manquants pour l'instant sont un petit restaurant et un dépanneur comme il y en avait avant la fermeture.

Belleville Zwick East Flagpole is one of Belleville's hidden gems. Situated on Zwick Island, this spot offers beautiful views of Belleville Harbour. There are a few banks where you can rest and enjoy a peaceful moment with a loved one. Several trails connect from and to the flagpole. It's a nice spot for a relaxed stroll with family, friends or pets. The location is roughly ten minutes away from the closest parking lot and only a very short drive away from downtown Belleville.

Lott Damm is situated halfway between downtown Belleville and the VIA Rail train station. It's beautifully situated on the Moira River and you can cross the dam by bike or foot. The dam also offers wonderful photo opportunities with the backdrop of downtown Belleville and its numerous bridges, buildings and parks.

Moira River is a nice place to explore in Belleville. The river is wide but not very deep. You can observe numerous animals such as ducks, geese and seagulls. There are multiple hiking trails along the river, leading from the highway to the harbour. There are several little bridges, memorials and playgrounds along the way. However, you can't swim in the river since there are dangerous dams in several sections.

Swiss Chalet Belleville is quite a mixed bag. On the positive side, staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The prices are also decent and the little gifts they hand out in the holiday season such as chocolates and coupons are also great. However, the wait time is at times excessively long with dinners taking between forty-five to sixty minutes before being served. The quality of the food was average at best with greasy ribs and tasteless sauce. At the end of the day, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

R.T. Potter Park is a very small park consisting of an old city car wreck with a few flowers around it. The basic idea isn't too bad but the execution could be a little bit more creative. The park could also need some more maintenance.

Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment Memorial honours local military institutions. It's perfectly situated at the junction of Bay Bridge Road and Dundas Street. The memorial is well-maintained and offers a beautiful photograph opportunity.

The Werner Dietz Park is a beautiful waterfront trail that takes roughly twenty minutes to complete for a roundtrip. The monuments and flags offer excellent photograph opportunities. Sadly, the trail just ends in the western part and doesn't connect to any other road, street or trail.

Belleville Bay Bridge connects the cities of Belleville and Rossmore in a beautiful and elegant way. There are numerous interesting photograph opportunities nearby on Zwick Island with its numerous trails. Make a stop there before crossing over to Rossmore or when coming from there.

I'm not exactly sure why Zwick Island is called this way but it certainly is a beautiful peninsula with many well-maintained hiking trails, cute little monuments and a few buildings for festival purposes. It's a great spot for a relaxed walk in the nature and only about twenty minutes away from downtown Belleville.

Crate Marina Belleville is a wonderful spot by the Moira River and the Belleville Harbour. There are several hiking trails nearby that invite for relaxed strolls, beautiful photograph opportunities and smooth breaks where city meets nature.

Meyers Creek Brewing Company is one of the greatest microbreweries in Ontario. The different beers offer much variety and taste great. The prices are very reasonable and the store offers some interesting merchandise as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Restrooms are upstairs and very clean but difficult to access for people with reduced mobility. The only elements that are missing are an open taproom and proper patio for customers but it certainly only is a matter of time for these things to see the light of day.

The Corporation of the City of Belleville is the city's most stunning building. It's certainly worth a detour and a stop. It can be photographed from many different angles. It's situated in the heart of downtown. You can find a market place as well as the bus terminal behind the city hall.

Belleville Cenotaph is a wonderful memorial dedicated to those who sacrificed their lives for a better future. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. The different parts of the memorial are properly maintained and beautifully situated next to Moira River.

Union Station's Concourse Hall or Food Court offers a vast selection of different restaurants for every taste from Asian over Middle Eastern to North American fast food. The location is well-maintained and proofs of vaccination are accurately verified to enter. However, the number of tables is fairly limited for such a popular train station.

Eglinton West Subway Station is currently undergoing major construction. It's difficult to find the different bus stations and bus stops. There is no map or itinerary to help you either. The bus drivers were not particularly helpful or polite either. Let's hope that things will look and work better once the construction has been completed.

Denny's is a diversified restaurant where I went to enjoy a generous breakfast with excellent coffee and a great smoothie. The prices are really fair if compared to similar restaurants. The waitress was very charming, helpful and polite. This might become my new favourite breakfast restaurant in town.

This location offers a comfortable atmosphere, excellent drinks and exquisite foods as well as perfect customer service. Sherbourne Common is a park on the northern shore of Lake Ontario that impresses with its modern architecture and a multitude of little monuments. You can also cycle and hike on the shore trail. It's also possible to sit on one of several benches and observe the beauty of Lake Ontario as well as the nearby Keating Channel and the numerous boats and ships on it.

Raymore Park is situated on the western side of the Humber River on the Pan Am Path. You can find a dog off leash area and a playground here. There are numerous benches right beside the Humber River. The natural scenery is quite stunning with its little islands and waterfalls. However, the park is currently partially closed as the southern end is under reconstruction. You can't walk past the construction site and have to leave via Weston Lions Park or Raymore Drive.

Weston Lions Park is one of the biggest parks along the Pan Am Path situated right next to the Humber River. There are an arena, a baseball field, an outdoor pool, a skatepark, a soccer field and a tennis court. Weston Train station is only five minutes away and connects you directly to downtown Toronto. This is a perfect spot for sportspeople to take a break from the busy big city life.

The park looks beautiful but suffers from visitors who smoke drugs, listen to loud music and drink alcohol in public in broad daylight. Crawford Jones Memorial Park is a beautiful spot to cycle, hike or organize a picnic with friends. It's situated on the Pan Am Path right next to the Humber River. Sadly, this park doesn't directly connect to Mallaby Park. You have to walk down Cardell Avenue and Weston Road to get there. Currently, parts of the park are under construction, probably to fix said issue and provide a direct link between Crawford Jones Memorial Park and Mallaby Park.

Pine Point Soccer Field is easily accessible via Highway 401 but nevertheless situated in a beautifully natural area. It's situated right next to Humber River and connects to the Pan Am Path. The only element that doesn't quite fit in with the beauty of nature are the long and bland roads through the park. McDonald's on Yonge Street's intersection with Grenville and Wood Streets is conveniently situated in downtown Toronto. The opening hours are very generous, even throughout the pandemic. Staff is friendly and helpful. The wait time is however a little bit longer than at other locations. Some of the customers had very rude behaviour when I visited but were thankfully put in their place by the staff.

Glendon Forest is situated between York University Glendon Campus and Sunnybrook Park. There is a small trail connecting the campus and the park that takes roughly twenty minutes to traverse. The forest is calm and dense. The bridges and paths on the eastern side are currently closed but you can use the western side to move from north to south or the other way around.

Elevated Wetlands are a series of sculptures combined with elements of nature. While the initial idea sounds intriguing, the sculptures are hidden by numerous trees and difficult to see, photograph and access. The most interesting elements about Todmorden Mills Heritage Site are the surrounding historic buildings and gorgeous natural landscapes. Visiting the site takes roughly thirty minutes but you can also sit on a bench, have a picnic and take some pictures. The mill is only open on select days and you can visit some intriguing exhibits.

The Don Valley Park offers an impressive number of long trails that invite to hike along the Don River. You can walk for hours without getting bored or bothered by the surrounding metropolis. The only element that could be improved are directions. Monsters for Beauty, Permanence and Individuality by Duane Linklater are a series of gothic stone sculptures that are very interesting to discover. However, they are standing in the middle of nowhere and should have been put at a different spot to be admired in their entire beauty.

Usually, a cemetery is a rather sinister place but the Toronto Necropolis surprises with well-maintained historic buildings, a beautiful and calm natural environment and artistic tombstones and memorials. It's certainly not mandatory to visit but perhaps the most beautiful graveyard in town.

Riverdale Farm is open all year long and doesn't charge any entrance fee. You can observe some beautiful farm buildings as well as farm animals like turkeys, sheep and chickens. This place is particularly intriguing for infants and young children. Visiting the farm takes between thirty to sixty minutes. Restrooms are available but everything else is closed during the ongoing pandemic at the farm.

Riverdale Park has a small upper and a big lower section that offer much space. In the upper part, you can admire some sculptures, sit on a few benches or visit the nearby farm.
