"Looper" is a movie that convinces from several points of view. It has a rather intriguing science-fiction story line that is quite well used in here and not over-employed. This means that the film is still down to earth and doesn't include too many technical...
If musical perfection exists, than it exists on this record. Amorphis lead us in an amorphous form on mushroom clouds and crimson waves to a musical paradise. This album is an "eargasm". It's a combination of everything I love about music. Each time I...
It's incredible that this game was released ten years ago already as it has aged particularly well and remains the best instalment in the Japanese action-adventure game franchise. This game offers more than one hundred hours of entertainment with five...
Perfect Days is a slice-of-life combining comedy and drama elements directed by renowned German filmmaking veteran Wim Wenders and starring a selection of extraordinary Japanese actresses and actors. Shot in only seventeen days in Tokyo, this movie shows...
This cult movie is a must see for any fan of humorous movies even though it won't beat "The naked gun" series or the Monty Python movies such as "Life of Brian". It's maybe on the same level as the "Vacation" series minus the cultural part of those ones....

This third and last part of the vengeance trilogy that began with "Sympathy for Mister Vengeance" and "Oldboy" leaves me once again breathless because of the brilliant acting and a very intense story. What really contributes to the success of this third...

"Premonition" seems to be a rather ordinary psycho thriller in the beginning that deals with paranormal activities, family dramas and destiny. The actors are very credible and add a lot to the dark and desperate atmosphere of the movie that has no lengths...
I've been a big fan of the very first "Resident Evil" movie because it had a unique horror film atmosphere, a twisted story and many intriguing characters. When I saw the second film, I was completely disappointed because it only focused on action scenes...

I enjoyed watching the two part television series about the Colditz Castle even though I have known better escape movies such as "Papillon" or "The Shawshank Redemption" and even though the melodramatic love and treachery stories were rather predictable...

This movie is a horrific ride through human decay and the sense of vengeance. The movie is emotional, philosophical and the characters are authentic, unique and very touching. On the other hand, the movie is not only a profound drama but also a very haunting...
Durant les dernières journées, vous avez sûrement vu une panoplie de gens portant une fleur rouge avec un centre noir sur leurs vêtements: les animateurs à la télévision, les fonctionnaires en centre-ville et même les professeurs et plusieurs étudiants...
This movie is another very good psycho thriller from Japan that convinces with a weird and intriguing story and a strange and haunting character that is closely related to brutal murders that are happening where seemingly normal people kill in the most...
This beginning of an era and one of the most unique music projects of the twenty-first century is a very strong start to kick off a unique career. It's still far from being perfect but should nevertheless especially please to fans of gothic and industrial...
This third part of the hilarious series is in my opinion the best movie. For the first time, there are several parallel stories, essentially the ones about the alien invasion and signs in the corn fields as well as the story of a deadly video tape. This...
