Ladies and gentlemen!

Another week - another playlist! German punk veterans Die toten Hosen have been admired by fans of different generations since its inception back in 1982. Düsseldorf's finest convinces with intelligent lyrics as well as humorous takes and plays anything from angry punk rock tunes over arena rock anthems to heartfelt power ballads. This charismatic quintet was my favourite band when I was eleven to thirteen years old. Therefore, I connect plenty of joyful childhood memories to this group. I even remember a presentation of the group that I did in my high school music class with my best friend that earned us a top grade while having fun working on the project. The fact that I still listen to this band regularly today underlines its stunning longevity for almost forty years and the legacy this group will one day leave behind.
