This new year has had an excellent start from a musical perspective. There have been so many outstanding songs released by veterans, youngsters and talents alike that my playlist could have easily featured twenty songs or even more. However, to keep things simple, I have decided to cut down my list to what I believe are the ten greatest songs of this first month of the year.
