2019 summer vacation: Day twenty-three - Winnipeg
Ladies and gentlemen,
Even though I continued to stay in Winnipeg on the twenty-third day of my summer vacation, I managed to have a quite eventful day. I visited two outstanding museums with the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and the Manitoba Museum. However, I also spent time outside and visited the campus of the University of Winnipeg and the Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival. The weather was great and the atmosphere was relaxed. It was a very beautiful day.

This part of the museum dealt with the Winnipeg general strike of 1919
Reconstruction of the Nonsuch, a merchant ship of the seventeenth century
One of my favourite exhibits in the museum: the cow really seems to be in love with the bull
The Manitoba Museum offered a lot of information on Ukrainian farmers who helped building the province
